Log Specifications

Log Specifications for Red Oak, White Oak, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, White Ash, Black Ash and Birch

Must be cut to a minimum of 102″, 10″ and up on the small end. The 10″ to 11″ logs need to have tighter specifications due to the smaller diameter. We are looking for ALL the GRADE logs. Tie-cut logs need to be a minimum of 14″ in diameter.

Log Specifications for Basswood and Aspen

Must be cut a minimum of 102″, 12″ and up on the small end. No stain, mineral and little color (i.e.: brown hearts in Quaking Aspen). If you include a nice, straight 11″ log, they would be allowed to fall under our specifications.

Logs with stain, ring rot or ring shake are not accepted.
All logs must have a minimum amount of sweep and trimmed properly.
